Actually, that’s a big misconception. You don’t need to mow in different directions so that the grass grows straight up. the grass will grow, as do all plants, in the direction of the sun. Mowing in different directions simply limits the indentations the wheels leave on the grass.

The season is getting closer so I did a youtube search on lawn services. I was going to do a video like this and still plan to. I do agree with what you are saying but down here in Dallas I don’t do it that way. It’s about time, money and heat. I want to get done. We are doing everything at once. But for the homeowner who wants to do it correctly this is a good guide. Thanks for the video.

its just a sidewalk edger..echo maybe or redmax. giter is 100% correct, time is money. i am the owner of Curb Appeal. never once have we cut yards 4 different ways. i prefer not to have my customers homes looking funky. If i knew how to load movies i would show how to really mow like a pro.

idk about u, but pros do not do that, pros try and do the best quality job in the least amount of time. edging and trimming are done at the same time with the same machine. this guy is not a pro. he even has a shitty mower which any real pro would have a walk behind. but he is right with the PPE (personal protective equipment) and with the blow the grass back into the lawn.

they are. this guy is not a pro. you first cut. always, then trim. edging is like sidewalks and driveways, u more/less dig them out. then trimming is around flower beds and such
