    I don’t think WD-40 or any petroleum based lubricant is appropriate. Dry based Teflon lubricant or some people say none at all. The grass itself actually lubricates the cutting surfaces. WD-40 or something like Enviro5 Natural Multi-Purpose Oil and Lubricant should only be used when storing the reel mower over the winter.

    @busbodger21 It doesn’t help when they don’t show her face in the video in some of those parts. I understand why, it just doesn’t work.

    The blades sounded like they were adjusted too tight. I have two Great States mowers and one is very quiet (no squeaks from the reel) and it cuts well. The other mower is tighter like your mower. Both cut equally well.

    Try running your mower a little bit looser. It’ll be easier to push.

    I love these mowers. Wish my neighbors would adopt them as each summer weekend is a cacophony of gas mowers cutting grass at dozens of homes up and down the street. At least they are mowing though… LOL!

    While your instruction was excellent the most explicit that I’ve watched so far, there are parts where it is almost impossible to hear you, especially at the beginning and at the very end.
    Otherwise, very helpful.
