Oh, I am sorry–I am so very tired and I keep yawning. In the beginning, I say that my friends have a lawn business (if you can’t understand me when I am yawning). Sorry about that…it is time for me to go to bed!!! It was a busy day and tomorrow maybe I will tell you about what I did to get so tired out!

This is a truly amazing piece of storytelling, of spoken word. I always find your readings of Pablo Neruda and Rumi intensly moving but this has even more depth because it is your own words, thoughts and recollections.
“Pulling him, flipping him, turning him, twisting him
Jumping back
All of these things to keep the snapping turtle from getting me.”
This is almost a poem in its own right. It contains elements of comedy, joy, and sadness.
Thanks for posting this.
Kind regards, Peter
