3 Lawn Care Business Time Management Tips

10 Jan

www.lawncare-business.com Do you keep track of your time in your lawn care business? Time mowing, time eating, time sitting at the gas station, etc, etc. Have you ever even thought about it? All of us have the same 24 hours in a day. The better use we make of it, the more money we can make, and the more time we can have to do what we want. If you save 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there it can really add up in a week’s time. We do 3 things that have made a huge difference in our lawn business 1. I have a sheet we use to note the start time and end time on each property and the travel time in between. We try and make the time better and better each visit. 2. We try to make our route each day so we have properties that are closest to each other in one route. (the time you spend driving in between each client doesn’t pay your business or ours anything, in fact it actually costs us money) 3. In areas where we only have 1 property to mow we market heavily in that area to get more customers. We like to have tons of properties in one small area. Some neighborhoods we even have several houses in a row. This means we don’t even have to load the equipment to go to the next property! Not only is tracking your time very useful in your business, it’s actually become like a game to us. See if you can keep making your times better and better.

Lawn business owners are often times to borrow money to buy assets such as lawn equipment. There is nothing wrong with that. But if the debt is growing, and gradually increases, while their assets were barely moving, may be about to become undue influence. How much does one have in mind? Typically, the problem is a sign of debt to assets ratio of approximately 50% or more. What do you do or do business ranging from lawn care lawn business. But regardless of what window we put it on raising debt assets is not a good thing. As most know, use this powerful weapon, which looks more like a double-edged sword. People love to be on the right side of it. The result – a high rate of use, or debt, debt that you must be careful that, in turn depletes the lawn maintenance business profitability and fairness, if you have in your business. 2. There is a hole in the pocket of financial You lose money on your lawn care business and losses mount. Depending on where you live, maybe some areas in the tax code, such as the ability to depreciate assets that can be truly appreciated in price allows the company to lawn care, to reduce their income or to show a loss, although, that business is really doing very well. Showing the tax loss is not usually a bad sign, but if the lawn care business is losing money from this and the tax code is just what the loss of the outdoors, have a good chance that the ‘looking for another red flag. So, if your losses are growing and seem to disappear, there will come a time when you need to look at your lawn care business and decide whether it is realistic to assume that they can keep their losses. Can you overcome this obstacle? 3. You’re out of money You can not seem to get more money for your lawn care business. Everyone knows about the business moving along very well, and then a loan or something, was rejected. Not good. Sometimes, lenders keep borrowers in trouble, or at least get additional financial problems. As a little cold water on his face, the rejection of the loan can be quickly check a reality for those who feel their current problem was not too difficult. 4. You are not smiling You are not smiling. If they do not then you better watch out. I think that the key to success is to enjoy what they do.
