This is the best time to feed your grass, so that it has all the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and green. If you don’t have weeds, or if you live in the south and have already treated for weeds, Sta-Green Lawn Fertilizer can be used on any type of lawn to encourage healthy growth and will feed your lawn for up to 3 months. Sta-Green Lawn Fertilizer uses slow release nitrogen technology to prevent burning and contains iron for deep greening of your grass. If you do have a problem with weeds, now is the time to use either Sta-Green Weed & Feed for cool season grasses or Sta-Green Southern Weed & Feed for warm season grasses. These fertilizers will control weeds and feed your lawn with one application for up to 3 months. To determine your grass type refer to Chapter 2: www.youtube.com Do not use any products with weed control at the same time you are planting grass seed. The weed control will inhibit the growth of the new grass. Always read and follow the detailed application instructions and precautions on the back of the lawn care product bag. All of us have the same 24 hours in a day. The better use we make of it, the more money we can make, and the more time we can have to do what we want. If you save 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there it can really add up in a week’s time. We do 3 things that have made a huge difference in our lawn business 1. I have a sheet we use to note the start time and end time on each property and the travel time in between. We try and make the time better and better each visit. 2. We try to make our route each day so we have properties that are closest to each other in one route. (the time you spend driving in between each client doesn’t pay your business or ours anything, in fact it actually costs us money) 3. In areas where we only have 1 property to mow we market heavily in that area to get more customers. We like to have tons of properties in one small area. Some neighborhoods we even have several houses in a row. This means we don’t even have to load the equipment to go to the next property! Not only is tracking your time very useful in your business, it’s actually become like a game to us. See if you can keep making your times better and better.
